El Salvador la Majada is a beautiful coffee that comes to us from the Sonsonate department of El Salvador's western side. The farmers formed a cooporerative to help control the price fluctuations, crop production variation and other emergencies in the region. The coop is based in San Jose de la Majada and was formed in 1967. The shareholders work together to provide education and business services. 
 
This coffee has a typical Central American flavor profile. It has mild acidity and a light body with flavor notes of almond, sugar cane and citrus. This coffee is roasted to a lighter medium level and is great as a pourover, drip or espresso.
