This Nicaraguan coffee comes to us from a coop in a small town of San Juan del Rio Coco. The farmers are located in the Madriz department which has hilly terrain causing many distinct microclimates resulting in unique flavor profiles. This is a washed coffee with a medium body and notes of cocoa powder, citrus and nutty flavors. The roast profile is light-medium and this is a very versatile coffee that can be enjoyed in however you want to prepare it.
