This coffee comes to us from the Jinotega region, which is in the north part of Nicaragua. This area is the largest coffee region in the country. The soil is rich with clay and volcanic ash and has plenty of trees to provide shade for the coffee trees. This coffee is grown by the smallholders in the community and processed at the local mill. We think that the coffee is well rounded and able to be enjoyed in various preparation techniques. We like this coffee best as a medium roast and it is packed with flavor!
